Panasonic
is the new name that is included in the list of companies that banned Huawei.
He followed in the footsteps of other big names like Google, Intel, Qualcomm,
and ARM.
The
Japanese company announced that it would stop supplying a number of components
to the Chinese vendor. Just like other technology corporations, the reason is
related to the entry of Huawei in the blacklist of the United States
government.

"We have stopped all business transactions with Huawei and 68 companies below that refer to penalties from the United States government," said Joe Flynn, a spokesman for Panasonic, as quoted from The Guardian, Friday (05/24/2019).
Panasonic's
business with Huawei itself includes supplying electronic equipment.
Unfortunately, they did not provide details about what equipment was supplied.
Furthermore,
this company headquartered in Osaka said that it was producing a number of
components sent to Huawei in the United States. This is what makes them impose
sanctions on the number two cellphone vendor in the world, because Uncle Sam's
government limits the distribution of products that are made fully or partly
there to Huawei.
Unfortunately, Panasonic
refused to tell what business it would continue with Huawei. Even so, there
were reports that said the punishment would only have little impact.
This news itself affected
Panasonic's share price which fell 1% to 896 yen. At the closing of the latest
stock market, the price is at the figure of 905 yen.
